Player Invitations for Team Registration

For adult leagues, tournaments and competitive programs where registrations are taken at the team level, captains or coaches can register the team, either making a payment in full or entering a mandatory minimum deposit.


Now what? In order to get their players added to the team roster and signed off on waivers, captains and coaches have the option to invite their players in 3 different ways!


1. During the team registration process, captains & coaches will be given the opportunity to add players to invite to the team via email, along with a recommended payment amount for that player (if any).

After inputting the team name, they will be taken to a page where they can input their role on the team, along with any additional comments/notes. Just below that, they will see a button to add a new player. By clicking that button, they can input player first name, last name, email address and an optional recommended payment amount.

Captains & coaches may invite as many as they need to before continuing on to make their payment and submit their registration. Invited participants will receive an email with a direct link to the team registration page and a recommendation on what they are to pay, whether it be made online or in-person.



2. Following team registration, the captain/coach contact who registered the team, will receive an email confirmation, along with a team-specific link that they can distribute however they'd like. By going to the aforementioned link, players will be able to immediately register for the team, bypassing any other available programs or teams. Using the team-registration link, team captains & coaches can invite players in whatever manner that they would like, whether it be by text, Facebook message, email or whatever method they prefer.



3. Once a captain or coach has registered the team, they can retrieve that same team link by logging into their player's club account and going to their Current Teams & Seasons page. When they then select the team view that they're looking for, they can quickly copy the link.



NOTE: If a team coach/captain is struggling to find their link or cannot get a hold of it, you will also have access to the team link by going to the Team Rosters page from within your employee account. Select the season from that page and then click on the team name. The team registration link will be available for copy just above the roster.


NOTE 2: Team registration links are only available for teams with invoices attached to them, by using a season registration product.
