Connecting A Credit Card Terminal (Bolt Devices)

In order to connect your POS to a BOLT device, it's easier than ever to get set up.


Step 1.

Turn on your BOLT device and connect the Ethernet cord directly to an Ethernet wall port at your device. At this point, you should see your device say the word, "Bolted" at the bottom of the screen.


Step 2.

Log into your account and choose "Register Configuration," from the POS dropdown. On this page, either add a new register by clicking the blue button in the bottom right-hand corner or choose to edit an existing register. Under the "Credit Card Terminal," dropdown, select the appropriate Serial Number for your EMV terminal. (NOTE: Any devices that you have purchased and registered within your merchant account will be populated in this dropdown)



Step 3.

When you open your POS register, you will see that your register is defaulted to the terminal chosen above. You will also see all other available terminals inside of the register, in the case that you may need to switch devices.
