POS Settings

Before tax can be calculated for you, please provide your states local tax rate.

Goto Configuration -> Business Information from the main menu. Then click "POS Settings," on the left side of the page.

If you subscribe to our POS service, you can set-up some preliminary financial information here. Authorize.Net is used for all online transactions. Card Connect handles setting up a merchant account for your business and provides the gateway for handling online transactions. CardConnect is required to accept online payments and payments for Online Registration. If you have an existing account, you may provide the Merchant ID & We Will Input Your UserName & Password for the Merchant Account. In addition, you can set a minimum online payment price and Refund Policy Disclaimer. If you currently do not subscribe to the POS package, and are interested in receiving online payments, contact us at bgreene@athlete-trax.com. Below is an explanation of each field:

1) Merchant ID: This is the ID provided by CardConnect to identify your account
2) User Name / Password: These are unique to AthleteTrax to verify that your account falls underneath our umbrella - we will input this information

3) Test Mode: If this is enabled, your account will not take any live credit card payments and can be used during account setup or for testing purposes with employee training.

4) Process Card-Present Transactions: This field must be enabled in order to swipe credit cards in-person through the account, using your CardConnect merchant account. If you are using external credit card terminals, you must leave this off and you can log manual credit card payments in the system. By enabling this feature, you may also input CC numbers via manual entry

5) Accepted Payment Types:Check off all credit cards that you accept. Only these logos will be shown to your customers for online registration. 
6) Processing Fee: A fee can be imposed for all online transactions. This will be charged in addition to your pricing and can help cover fees charged by credit card companies.

7) Minimum Payment Amount: If you require that a customer must pay a minimum amount on online registrations or purchases, please provide that amount here

8) Tax Rate: You can input your local tax rate for products which will have tax assigned onto the retail price.
9) Print Logo on POS Receipt: You can toggle this feature on/off if you'd like your logo to be featured on your printed POS receipts for customers

10) Refund Policy Disclaimer: This disclaimer will be presented to your customers on every online transaction. They must agree to this disclaimer before a payment is allowed to be processed.
