What is the difference between a league and season?

Modified on Tue, 16 Nov 2021 at 11:13 AM

Leagues are meant to be a holder, or the parent, for multiple seasons.  Seasons are the child in the relationship.  When properly set-up, we can automatically calculate all time leaders, past champions, record holders and provide your customers with an easy to use interface to access all historical information.  For example, If you have a Tuesday night Over 30 league at your facility, you would set up a league called Tuesday Night Over 30.  Then every season created for Tuesday Night Over 30, would be associated to that league.
