Leagues give you a way to group multiple seasons together. By grouping multiple seasons together, our software will automatically compile and track the all-time leaders and record holders for this league without you having to do a thing. The following will explain how to set up your leagues in our system. We recommend that you do this before creating any seasons.
Step 1
Go to Leagues and Seasons -> League configuration from the main menu. NOTE: The user must have MANAGE LEAGUES permissions to continue.
Step 2
You will be presented with a list of all current leagues in your system. Click on the Create New League button at the top right of the screen
Step 3
In the League Screen, provide a descriptive name to identify it to your customers. Select the sport of this season. You can not combine seasons from multiple sports into one season. For keeping track of all-time leaders and record holders, you can set thresholds under the Web Display Options menu. Next, if you have available seasons that are not associated to any leagues yet, you may highlight them and click the add button to associate them with this league. When complete, hit Save. All league history will be attached to all associated seasons. This information will be immediately available to your customers through our API interface.
