Customer Photos using an attached web camera

You can now use an attached web camera to take pictures of your customers on demand.  With a webcam, you no longer need to take photos using a camera, transfer them to your computer and then upload them through our system.  Instead, do it all in one easy step with your web camera attached.

Step 1

Go to Customer Relationship -> Customers from the main menu. NOTE: You may also edit photos directly from the roster menu as well.

Step 2

Next to the customer you wish to add/edit a photo, click on the options button.  Next, Click on the photo link shown below.

Step 3

You are presented with a window showing the current photo of the customer along with some options as shown below.  To hide this photo from public view, check the box that states “Place check here to hide photo from the public”.  To delete the current photo, Click on the red “X” directly above the photo.  To use a web camera for a new photo, follow the additional steps below.

Step 4

Click on the “Take Picture with Webcam” button.  You will be prompted for permission to use your web camera.  You must accept this in order to work by sharing the device.

Step 5

You will be presented with a live view of your camera.  When ready, click on “Take Snapshot” for the photo of your customer.

Step 6

You will be presented with a preview of your photo.  Choose the photo orientation you would like to have from the choices on the left side.  Then, please crop the photo by sizing and positioning the cropping box over the portion of the photo you wish to keep.

Step 7

When finished, click on “Save Image”
