Mass Mailer capabilities

Modified on Wed, 25 May 2016 at 10:37 AM

Our software has a built in emailer program for you to use to keep in constant contact with your customers.  The mass mailer is easy to use and lets you get your message to your intended audience.

Step 1

Select Customer Relationship -> Mass Mailer from the main menu at top

Step 2

You will be presented with a list of previously composed emails with an update on the current status.  To create a new email message, click on Create a new mass mail button at the top left.  NOTE: the user must have MASS EMAIL permissions enabled.

Step 3

Start Creating your message.  The editor contains a rich text editor that will allow you to send HTML formatted email to your customers.  If you would like to use images in your messages, use a third party service to store photos and provide the link within your message. The following is an explanation of the fields.

1) From: This is the name that will be displayed in your customers email box. This is defaulted to your business name
2) Reply To: Since emails need to originate from mysportsort.com to avoid SPAM filtering, a reply-to address is required to notify your customers who the may respond to. This defaults to the email address of the current user logged into the system.
3) To: Click this button to identify recipients to receive this email
4) Subject: The subject of the email
5) Message: The body of your email. This editor is fully HTML capable.

Step 4

Define who will receive this email by clicking the To button. Here, you are presented with a couple of options to comprise your list of recipients. When you select a valid combination, an add to list button will appear. Click on this button and hit save. You may add as many combinations of recipients as you like. If any emails overlap, your customers will only receive one copy of the message.

Step 5

Click Save as draft if you plan to work on this email at a later date and are not ready to send. Click Save and Send if it is ready to go. Doing this will queue up the message to your recipients and starting sending the email immediately.
